Bike rides in the Ruhr area

The beautiful „Stadt-Land-Fluss“-Radtour takes us through the Ruhr region. We start in Helge Schneider's birthplace Mülheim and cycle on through Essen, Werden and Kettwig – always down the Ruhr, along Lake Baldeney and through lots of greenery.

Well signposted, eventful circular tour on the „From Ruhr to Ruhr Cycle Route“. The route takes you through picturesque landscapes along a historic railway line to the region's places of interest.

This tour takes you past fields, meadows, lakes, forests, ravines and castles and has almost no ascents.

On this rural circular tour, we pass numerous small settlements and villages and cycle mainly across fields and meadows. Opportunities to get off the saddle open up, for example, at Burghügel Mark or at the zoo.

Der Ruhr-Lenne-Achter schlängelt sich durch das Grenzgebiet von Sauerland und Ruhrgebiet. An der vorwiegend steigungsarmen Strecke laden nette Innenstädte, Cafés und Restaurants zum Verweilen ein. An einer Tachoprüfstrecke im Barbachtal können Sie die Genauigkeit Ihres Tachos überprüfen und ggfs. einstellen. On this round trip through the hinterland of Unna we get to see some natural monuments such as the Jakobsquelle, the Krause Baum and the historic Operdicke House and get our camera in front of them.

This tour takes you around Selm and its districts of Bork and Cappenberg. Selm lies on the border between the Ruhr and Münsterland. A short stretch of the trail takes us through the town of Nordkirchen. The flat Münsterland landscape with its „Pättkes“, on which the tour is üpredominantly guided, is typical.
