Guests are welcomed to the Hüttenschenke by the Baldus family in a family atmosphere. The country inn, which is very popular in the region, is known for its first-class cuisine. Cyclists on the Ruhr-Sieg Cycle Path are just as happy to stop in as hikers on the Castle Hiking Trail, whose routes pass through Wehbach.

The "Landgasthof Hüttenschenke" in Kirchen-Wehbach is a family business. Doro Baldus' grandfather and great-uncle ran the restaurant back in 1954. Today Jonas Baldus is the boss.

The restaurant offers 30 seats in a cosy atmosphere. The large hall for events, meetings or even family celebrations has another 60 seats. In addition, the country inn offers a bowling alley, 5 double rooms for overnight stays and a large beer garden.

During a circular walk on the castle hiking trail (15 km), a stop for refreshments is just as much an option as during a cycle tour on the Ruhr-Sieg cycle path between Kirchen (Sieg) and Freudenberg and beyond to Lake Bigge or the Ruhr.
