Maps and trails

Welcome to the Alpine town of Bludenz and its three impressive Alpine valleys:

Brandnertal, Klostertal and Biosphärenpark Große Walsertal. The valleys are located in the south of Vorarlberg and make up the charm of this impressive tourist region.

The Brandnertal with the villages Brand, Bürserberg and Bürs holds every day a new experience and intense shared experiences for active nature lovers and families.

The Klostertal with the vacation resorts Braz, Dalaas/Wald and Klösterle creates intensive encounters with nature at the foot of the Arlberg and invites you to discover the mountain world and countless water places.

Also in the biosphere park Großes Walsertal with the communities of Thüringen, St. Gerold, Blons, Sonntag-Buchboden, Fontanella-Faschina and Raggal-Marul, you can discover the intact natural landscape and, free from everyday life, simply let go and enjoy. In addition, the region was awarded as a mountain climbing village.

The center of the 5-valley mountain region is the alpine town of Bludenz with the vacation resort of Nüziders. Here, mountains, nature, city and culture go hand in hand. The alpine town is not only an ideal starting point for all kinds of sporting activities, but also a meeting place: markets, stores, cafés, restaurants and, last but not least, a wide variety of events attract visitors from all over the region.

Summer

More than 800 km of hiking trails, entertaining theme trails, guided hikes with trained hiking guides, spectacular via ferratas and climbing gardens offer sporting variety. Several mountain railroads take nature lovers and active people from the valley directly to the hiking areas. 300 km of partly challenging mountain bike trails, a bike park, two 18-hole golf courses, tennis courts, swimming pools, horseback riding facilities and archery courses round off the sporting offer and ensure active vacation days.

Winter

Winter lovers can also spend an eventful time in the region, because the winter offer is manifold. The ski areas Brandnertal, Sonnenkopf, Sonntag-Stein, Raggal and Damüls-Faschina are all perfectly suited for pleasure skiers, families and beginners. The areas are clearly arranged, the slopes are perfectly groomed. Numerous cross-country ski trails and toboggan runs complete the winter fun.And if you prefer untouched deep snow, you will find perfect conditions for winter and snowshoe hiking, freeriding and ski touring - always accompanied by a magnificent mountain panorama and, if desired, also by qualified guides.
