Park
· Lahntal
To the north of the town, you will find the Hain, a city park covering 40 hectares and full of oak and beech trees. Like many things in Diez, the city park also has an ‘Orange’ history: William V, Prince of Orange, separated part of the park from Oranienstein Palace and gifted it to the city in 1796. A column on Sternplatz square in the Hain city park was erected in his memory.
