The ideal starting point for many beautiful excursion destinations in Salzburg and neighboring Bavaria. E.g. Salzbug City, Mozart's birthplace, Hellbrunn Palace and Zoo, Königsee, Berchtesgaden and Hallein Salt Mines, Werfen Ice Giant World, Gollinger Waterfall, St. Wolfgang im Salzkammergut, Hallstatt, Bad Ischl, Kaprun Reservoir, Chiemsee etc.

A ski garage is available in winter. The most beautiful ski areas in Salzburg such as Zauchensee, Flachau, Obertauern, Ski amadé St. Johann im Pongau or the Kitzsteinhorn glacier can be reached in 30 - 60 minutes. But small, family-friendly ski areas such as Bad Dürrnberg or Gaissau are also nearby.
