In the Puderbach countryside

We start at the train station in Raubach and cycle off into the street Am Heidchen. The mountain road leads us out of the village into the nearby forest. On the country lane we reach the tranquil Überdorf. First we continue in the direction of the A3 and then turn right into the Urbacher Kirchspielwald. After the village of Linkenbach, we follow the river of the same name through the forest. Soon we come across the Grenzbach (1), along which we ride along the forest aisle. We pass the Peckhausermühle mill and the Hölderstein via ferrata (2). Next we cycle around the village of Döttesfeld on the banks of the river Wied and cross a bridge to enter the state forest of Altenkirchen. On our natural path we finally reach Rodenbach via Niederwambach and Udert. In the Oberdreiser forest we pass near a slag heap. Afterwards, our path winds along fields and through several small villages and a piece of forest before we reach Raubach again. Worth seeing is the Protestant parish church (3), which dates back to the 13th century. In Elgerter Straße we find a former "half-timbered cross house". We reach the station by turning left behind the tracks into Kirchstraße.
