Border Hike | Hoher Götschen and Köppelschneid
The pleasant circular tour starts at the car park of Café s'Bamstoa and leads over the Hoher Götschen (930m) and the Köppelschneid to the small hamlets of Stadler and Eßbach and then back again. Along the way there are always beautiful vantage points with views towards Niederalm and the Wiestal reservoir. The trail itself leads over hilly meadows to Köppelschneid, a wooded rocky ridge that largely follows the border. Some old boundary stones from 1818 line the path and attest to its long history.
