Ehmsenweg
Stage 1: Arnsberg - Endorf (20 km) We start our hike on the Ehmsenweg in the historic old town of Arnsberg, with the bell tower, the Hirschberg Gate, the castle ruins, the Probstei Church and the Church of the Resurrection. After leaving the Ruhr valley, the route continues through the Sunderner Wälder and the town of the same name to Endorf, where we can pay a visit to the Alte Schmitte local history and hunting museum. Stage 2: Endorf - Fretter (18 km) The highlight of today's tour in the Saalhaus mountains is without doubt the pilgrimage church of St. Anthony of Padua at the former Brunnen monastery. In Faulebutter, a game preserve and a short excursion to the nearby Salwey spring also await hikers hungry for adventure.
