Track for ambitious trailrunners in submountain region. Total ascent: 670m. The first part of the track is quite flat, following the little river Königsseer Aache/Berchtesgadener Aache. After about 3 km the tracks ascends more or less continuously to the Götschen (929m a.m.s.l.), passing the Gutrat ruin und following the crest of so called Gutratsberg (or Tuval). Reaching the summit after about 8 km, the track descends down to the Salzach river passing the picturesque Barmstein Rocks and then follows the flat Salzachtal-Radweg (asphalt cycle path) back to the starting point at Schloss Rif.
