Kraam

The geographical location of Kraam is unique: the picturesque hills of the Westerwald surround the village while the river Sieg flows through the landscape. This creates a beautiful panorama for hiking and cycling tours along the many paths and trails.

Culturally, Kraam has much to offer. The local museum shows the history of the village as well as traditional crafts from times gone by. In summer, various festivals attract visitors, such as the popular "Summer Night Festival" or the "Westerwälder Schützenfest".

For culinary delights, we definitely recommend a visit to one of the local breweries, where you can enjoy regional beer. Regional specialities such as "Himmel un Äd" (black pudding with mashed potatoes) should also be on your to-do list.

Outdoor activities are particularly popular here - whether hiking, cycling or canoeing on the River Sieg - there are many ways to get active while experiencing the breathtaking nature. The best season for this is definitely spring to autumn.

But even in bad weather, no one need be bored: There is a bowling hall nearby as well as a cinema centre with current films.

It is especially beautiful in Kraam in spring, when nature awakens and everything is green and blossoming. But also autumn with its colourful leaves offers a picturesque backdrop for walks through the forest.
